Csk has been very consistant Team of IPL since beginning of the tournament. CSK manage to qualify in playoffs 12 times out of 14 IPL in which They feauterd. The second best Team who qualified in playoffs after CSK is Mumbai Indians 10 times.
2) Most no. of Finals
As we told you CSK reached in playoffs 12 times and out of those 12 CSK played 10 Finals and won 5 of them and also holds the record of most IPL trophies with Mumbai Indians who also won 5 times.
3) Lowest total defend
It is too dificult in T20 Cricket to defend a total below 120 and specially in IPL where all the world class batters play. But that is why CSK has been best Team of IPL because they have defended low total near about 120 multiple times. Once CSK defended 116 runs against Kings XI Punjab. This is still a massive record.
4) Most no of times reached 200
IPL is the tournamnet where every year records of total no. of runs and boundries are broken. Score of 200 is very common in tournament like IPL CSK have made 28 times over 200 runs. After CSK there is RCB who did this 24 times.
5) Most Matches as Captain

Mahendra singh Dhoni has been appointed CSK captain in the frist season of IPL and he is still the Captain of CSK after 16 years. MS Dhoni has played 226 matches as Captain in IPL and for CSK he has 212 matches in his pocket. He also did Captaincy of Rising Pune Supergiants in 2016 edition of IPL, When CSK was banned for 2 years.
