CSKvsKKR: Chennai Super Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 7 wickets in a low-scoring match. Kolkata Knight Riders had scored 137 runs while playing first, on the other hand, chasing the target, Chennai easily won the match with 14 balls remaining. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad’s unbeaten half-century of 67 runs played an important role in this victory. CSK has become the first team to defeat KKR by winning 3 consecutive matches this season. Whereas Chennai has regained its winning streak after suffering 2 consecutive defeats.
While batting first KKR could scroe only 137 runs with loss of 9 wickets. CSK chased this target within 18 over with 14 balls remaining. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad played superb knock of 67 runs out of 58 balls and in middle order Daryl Mitchell and Shivam Dubey also played their part respectively 25 runs and 28 runs. Now CSK came back out of 2 losses back to back and CSK is at 4th no. meanwhile KKR is at 2nd position and Rajsthan Royals is at the top with 4 out of 4 wins.
