Shardul Thakur has not been playing international cricket for a long time but he is active in domestic cricket and currently playing in Ranji Trophy. Because of his brilliant performance throughout the tournament Shardul brought his Team to semifinal and today he smashed blistering hundred for his Team in semifinal. Shardul scored 109 runs with 13 fours and 4 sixes. Mumbai managed to get 300 run mark due to this masterclass inning.

Shardul not only scored hundred but also picked two important wicket in just 14 overs. Shardul truly played a perfect allrounder role for his Team. The second semifinal is being played between Mumbai and Tamilnadu. Mumbai’s start was not up to the mark as opner Prithvi Shaw departs on just 5 runs and then there nothing much done by others batters too. Shardul came at no.9 and took the charge. Shardul faced 105 balls and smashed 113 runs and made Mumbai alive in this important match. In the first inning Tamilnadu got allout on 146 runs whereas Mumbai is now leading with 206 runs as their score is 351-9.
